GX Works is a free tool for creating machine language programs that work anywhere in the world. It's for people who want to learn what computer programming really means, and for people who want to show the world what they can do with a computer. GX Works supports 16-bit programs compatible with any system from Windows 3.1 through Windows 10, including 32-bit and 64-bit systems. The program supports 15 types of registers, including individual registers such as A, X, B, H and SP. Its debugger allows users to check the contents of registers and memory locations within a program at any point in time during runtime. GX works was used as a form of foreign language education in Nanjing Foreign Studies University.The free version of GX Works died on July 15, 2017, at 11:59 PM CST.
