Arjun - The Warrior Prince is an Indian historical Hindi-language TV series. It starts with the 15-year-old Arjun, who is being tutored in the arts of warfare by his grand father King Drupad. The next part of the plot continues at seventeen, when Arjun is crowned heir to the throne of Hastinapur kingdom, but has to renounce his claim for being a womanizer and puts Sikhandi instead on the throne. The plot moves on nine years later when Arjuna becomes honourable commander at 22 years old and has to lead an army against Duryodhana's sons Jarasandha and Bhishma. The plot moves on eleven years from now, when Arjuna becomes a great warrior and fights with Karna. The last part of the plot is that of the Mahabharata war, where Arjuna fights on behalf of his ancestor Bhima and his friend Duryodhana. Arjun takes revenge of his family members. The story begins with the birth of Arjun to Kunti, who is the head of kingdom Gandhara. One day, her brother Drupada visits her and he reveals that their father Pandu has died. When Kunti comes back to her country she announces the death of Pandu to people and also announces about her two sons. She orders her son Yudhishthira to be crowned King but Duryodhan interrupts the ceremony by asking which boy is eldest- he is convinced that Yudhistira was born after Dhritarastra, but Kunti reveals that Yudhistira was born before Dhritarastra. So in the battle of Kuruketra, Duryodhan wins. Then in the next part, when Arjuna is born, he is an extremely handsome baby who earns the heart of all women at his village. Arjuna meets Ashwatthama when they are little boys. Arjun grows up to be a very brave-hearted child, whose personality changes when he meets Duryodhana's younger brother Dushasana. He develops a hatred for Duryodhana and begins to have doubts about his father Yudhishthira's leadership skills. Arjuna is everyone's favorite except for Duryodhana, who thinks that Arjuna will become a great warrior and take revenge of all the insults that he took from his father.
